… And that is how I also (besides music) see poetry: A universe of words. A cluster of ideas, scattered thoughts, mixed emotions, and information that encapsulate as a cocoon of hidden meanings the reason why things happen the way they happen.
Vitakinesis (vita is Latin for “life”, and kinesis is movement; motion) is the ability to control and manipulate the healing process.
Vitakinesis is a very useful ability to have. One with the ability can restore biotic organisms to their optimal health, curing damaged or withered organisms, wounds, broken bones, low vitality, and diseases/poisoning. Powerful User can heal/undo any/all damage to a flawless or perfect state, as all evidence, trace or even memory of the wounds are gone from the targets body after they are healed/repaired. Restoring the body to a pristine condition, even if the wound is recently inflicted or ancient. It seems to be an ability possessed by the children of Apollo, and the Norse god of summer, Frey and his children (through Alf Seidr). This ability can also be possessed by powerful children of Asclepius (but in a lower level than Apollo’s children). Poseidon and other water gods/spirits can use this ability too (due to the fact that water is the element of healing).
As a metaphor, vitakinesis can be seen as a “double edged” vector (mind & body; life & motion).
Pyrokinesis, from the Greek words pûr and kinesis (meaning “fire” and “moving” respectively), is the ability to control fire as well as being completely immune to being burned by fire.
Fire as a metaphor implies inner spark, light, life, or mind force which can be stimulated and modulated by driving forces both internal and external to ourselves. The word fire, also implies energy dynamics. The increase in response to stimuli similar to the way small burning twigs can generate a large flame.
In Greek mythology, Prometheus (ancient Greek: Προμηθεύς, possibly meaning “forethought”), is a Titan god of fire. Prometheus is credited with the creation of humanity from clay, and who defies the gods by stealing fire and giving it to humanity as civilization. Prometheus is known for his intelligence and for being a champion of humankind, and is also seen as the author of the human arts and sciences generally.
Shapeshifting is the magical ability that one has to change his/her age, size, sex, species, facial features and so on.
Gods and Titans are beings of pure, radiant energy in their true form, but since it’s too dangerous to simply look at them in this form (or being in their presence if it is Kronos), both beings are able to assume physical form in order to safely interact with “lesser beings”.
As a metaphor, shapeshifting can be seen as a little secret tool that you can use to literally change the way you think and it’s called reframing. Simply put, reframing is changing how you see something and then expressing it differently.
Vitakinesis (vectoring), pyrokinesis (light-ning), and shapeshifting (reframing) are a triad of abilities that poetry can possess!
